About Rebecca LaFond, LMT
After over 30 years in careers adjacent to health care -- first as a pharmacy technician, then as a biomedical researcher -- I took steps toward direct contact with clients and completed my massage therapy certification at Central Oregon Community College. Licensed since 2024, I apply my commitment to human health and my intuitive powers toward giving my clients the best possible experience during their massage.
My Purpose
Therapeutic massage comes in many forms: whole body relaxation, focus on one part of the body, to anywhere in between. By compassionately listening and establishing trust, my goal is to co-create a deeply healing massage session with my client. Each session gently encourages the body's natural ability to heal and feel better than ever imagined possible.
Training
My training includes hundreds of class hours learning not only the theory and practical application of massage, but also Bachelor of Science and doctoral degrees in biomedical science as well as years of instruction in several systems of energy healing. I draw from my diverse learning and experience to work on the interface of science and intuitive compassion, skillfully serving my clients' needs.
